Very nice, long pull through sites that are very easy for ingress and egress. We stayed at the very front-most site to insure our satellite access rather than availing ourselves of the park's cable. There is relatively heavy traffic at the front due to some long term tenants and an on-site storage facility, but the roads have plenty of gravel so there is no dust. The office personnel were helpful and friendly. The nearby casino offers free shuttle service 24/7 from the park. A nice quiet park that we would certainly return to.

It is difficult to rate a park like this. It is the only available park with utilities in the area. The views of the surrounding mountains is good, but the park's appearance has much to be desired. Both my cell signal and my Internet signal (air card) were the best I have ever experienced. 50 amp service is only available in back-in sites. Make sure that you have a water restrictor as the pressure could put out a high rise fire. The altitude is 6,371' so if you have breathing issues this is not the place to stay.

The only reason I rated this park as high as a "5" is because the owner/manager(?) was so friendly and helpful. About 1/3 of the sites have a tree or any grass and those sites will not accommodate a 40' RV. 50 amp sites are pull throughs only and they are all dirt. Dirt roads and dirt sites. Not gravel! Even the sites with grass are with dirt pads. Wifi and satellite reception were excellent. Like many western states we were serenaded by trains throughout the night. For those of us without children driving further down the road may be a better option.

This is one of the nicest and cleanest parks we have been in since returning from Alaska. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the sites are level even though on a slope offering views above nearby coaches. Some of the amenities are extra such as Wi-Fi and 50amp, but as least are available at all sites. You pay for what you want. I would go out of my way to stay here again!

This is a very conveniently located campground with nice views and lake access. A cafe and fuel is available on site. The Wi-Fi speed was excellent. The campground has obvious drainage problems so choose your spot carefully. If you are a 40' or larger motorhome walk the access to the dump station before committing your coach and toad. I damaged my front end that could have only been avoided by approaching from the opposite direction.

I should have read the previous Reviews! The park is a parking lot behind stores on the Parks Highway. The views consist of garbage cans, retail store backs, and cars driving through the area thinking that they can get access to either the stores or the gas station at the south end of the "campground." There is no security and we found the water to be distasteful. A better choice would be 2 miles north to the Denali RV Park which sits right on the river. This has been an EXPENSIVE lesson teaching us to check this site before committing to a long stay.

A good location with views from all sites. If you want 50amps the rate is 50/night. Though cable is advertised it is necessary to get a converter box from the office and connect it to the rear of your TV. The only significant drawback to the park is that the interior road is not paved and the dust generated by those inconsiderate #$&^@ is bothersome. Given the constant wind buffeting encountered at the spit, this park will continue to be my choice when in Homer.

Just entering this review to keep reviews recent. This is a nice setting and the office personnel are extremely helpful and friendly. The associated complimentary Princess Lodge amenities are an added convenience. Salmon fishing appears to be the major draw to the area. You ARE permitted to wash both your RV and your toad - how refreshing! A worthwhile stop in your travels, but call ahead to insure reservations.

This is one of the best parks where we have ever stayed - regardless of price. The sites are spacious. There is a ranger that drives through at least once a day. All sites and roadways are paved. Because of the nearby dam we were unable to get satellite reception, but it didn't matter as the setting was so nice.

Though a bit pricey, this is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in. Because of the relatively high daily rate it would probably be prudent to take advantage of lower rates for longer commitments. If we were in the area again I would go out of me way to stay there.

We had planned on staying for one week, but left after one day because of the dust being kicked up by even the slowest most considerate park traffic. Rain would have created a virtual mud hole of the roads. The staff were pleasant and the setting was nice, but we are not dirt campers.
